En même temps, ça ne fait qu'un mois ou deux qu'il étudie le français, c'est vraiment peu pour pouvoir communiquer dans une langue qui est quand même très différente de sa langue maternelle... Il a dit lui-même qu'il ne comprenait pas encore grand chose, bon, ça viendra progressivement mais pour l'instant, si on veut être sûrs qu'il comprend ce qu'on dit il vaut mieux utiliser l'anglais.

In some big cities in china like Guangzhou,cubing has been developing very fast and very well,Guangzhou always have the most competitions every year in China,because it's the first city to motivate people to cube.From primary schools to universities,cubing has been known and practices by most of the students,so the atmosphere for cubing is pretty good in Guangzhou.As for other cities,like Beijing,the capital of China,and Shanghai,Chongqing,cubing also has been spread well,but it's quite expensive to rend a occasion(supermarket,hotel)for holding a comp,so it's rare to have a comp in those cities.(In guangzhou,comps are usually held in Nanwu middle school and some universities,so the sponsors don't need to spend any money)
As for your first and second questions,i don't understand what's the exact meaning of "trends" and "community" since my bad english...

Beforeward i used M2R2 method which is a method quite easy to learn and recite its algrithms.Then after giving up using M2R2 method,i turned to use simple version 3-cycle method that has only 18 algs.Till now,i've been using full 3-cycle method for nearly one year.(This order is good,i think,because the 3 method i mentioned above have different difficulties from easy to more difficult,then to the most difficult but fastest)

I memorize the egdes first.I changed the words into a story as i memorize the edges,then while i'm memorizing the part of corners,i directly read them at a time but not create a story because it must waste time.After memorizing,i solved the corners first then the edges.
